Position Summary:
Signal Security is hiring dependable Security Guards / Unarmed Security Guards in Fairbanks, Alaska. This position provides static security, access control, property patrol, and surveillance services for residential communities, offices, courtyards, pools, and other high-value properties.

Must be willing to obtain an Alaska Guard License upon hire.
Responsibilities:
Perform access control and perimeter security to protect property and residents
Monitor premises and maintain a visible security presence
Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity reports (DARs) using mobile reporting software
Respond to disturbances and de-escalate conflicts professionally
Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and clients
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding incidents, hazards, or safety concerns
Safeguard company-issued equipment (radio, keys, access cards, etc.)
Follow post orders, site procedures, and company policies at all times
18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Reliable transportation
Ability to obtain an Alaska Guard License (Guard Card)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Professional appearance and dependable attendance
Prior experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, loss prevention, or customer service is a plus but not required.
