Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Tree Climber / Arborist to join a professional tree care team. This is a hands-on position for someone with at least 3 years of professional tree climbing experience who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and as part of a team.

You’ll perform and help lead tree pruning, removals, planting, and other arboricultural services using climbing systems, aerial lifts, chainsaws, chippers, and related equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform professional tree climbing, pruning, and removals
• Complete ground, climbing, and aerial lift work
• Identify trees and assess their condition
• Prune trees according to industry best practices
• Safely perform tree removals
• Install cabling and bracing systems
• Assist with tree planting and ongoing tree care
• Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, hand tools, and related equipment
• Help maintain a safety-first, productive work environment
• Occasionally respond to storm-related emergency calls involving fallen trees, blocked roadways, or similar incidents
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of safe, professional tree climbing experience
• Valid standard driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• CDL is NOT required
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a crew
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.

Schedule

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM . Hours may vary based on weather and seasonal workload.

Occasional emergency call-outs may be required during severe weather, including wind, snow, ice, or storm events.
